Prevent damage while drifting and simply change your tires when they are bald drifted?
These are two things that occur when drifting. To prevent damage from another driver’s rear bumper or other parts while drifting, LucaCarMods designed the drift bumper (also called bash bar). If someone ticks you, you have a sturdy 45mm thick steel bumper that catches the blows, the blow is pretty hard then the bumper will bend to catch the blow as much as possible.
The bumper part is attached to the car with 8 bolts, so if damaged it is easy to disassemble.
A safe jack point
Both wheels can be easily and quickly switched by the central jack tip that will get the entire back of the Volvo 740/940 off the ground at once. A major additional advantage is that axle supports can be placed under the original jack points and can be safely worked under the car if necessary. Normally this is not possible because the only jack point has simply been put into use by the jack.
Mounting on the original Volvo towbar and bumper mounting points
The bumper is designed to be easily mounted with the already present mounting points for the rear bumper and towh hook.
