Mazda MX-5 NB 98-05 Rear Side Shield Repair Panel Right (Passenger Side)

This sheet metal part is suitable for repairing rust on the underside of the side screen (also called sill) or when blistering occurs along the wheel rim. In that case, we always recommend using the complete repair panel!

Indeed, as soon as small blisters appear under the paint, it means that (advanced) rust is already present on the inside of the panel.

Tip: When welding in new sheet metal parts, make sure the underlying surface is completely free of rust and treated with a rust converter such as Dinitrol RC900 and/or zinc spray. After the repair, it is recommended to apply a cavity wax on the inside such as Dinitrol ML or 1000.
