If the side screen of your MX-5 is starting to rust or has advanced rust on the underside, there is a very good chance that the underlying part of the sill is also rusted. For light rust, we recommend blanking (de-rusting) the underlying piece of the sill and treating it with a rust converter such as Dinitrol RC900.

However, often the sheet metal has become very thin and then it is advisable to order this sill repair panel and weld it in (partially).
