If you switch to a modern ignition then the camshaft opening at the rear of the block can be plugged. And on the Volvo 240s, they are capped by default.

Due to age or high crankcase pressure, this cap plug may be squeezed out or simply fall out. Resulting in a serious oil leak at the rear of the B230 engine!

With this cover plate, you can easily ensure that the camshaft cover plug stays firmly in place.

The cover plate is made of laser-cut Stainless Steel (SS) to resist corrosion. Supplied incl. mounting hardware.
