Engine mount Volvo 7/900 – MB M104

Top quality, rigid engine mounts for a Mercedes M104 / M103 / OM603 / OM606 engine in your Volvo 700 / 900 series.

These engine mounts fit perfectly and can handle all the power you can produce. An engine swap couldn’t be simpler than this.

Assembly

• The engine mount bolt pattern fits the Mercedes M104 / M103 / OM603 / OM606 with a standard angle of ~15 degrees. The OM603 and 606 engines need the M103 or M104 oil filter housing to fit on these engine mounts.
• Modification of the oil pan is necessary to make room for the standard suspension beam. Some oil sumps with larger sumps are not supported because there is not enough room for the standard suspension bar (the G-Class sump is an example of this).
• The oil pump and water pump of the OM606 engine are larger, and the Volvo chassis must be slightly modified to make room for them.

A set of engine mounts includes:

• Zinc iron chrome plated and black coated 5mm high strength steel brackets. These brackets are resistant to corrosive environments and have a long service life.
• Rigid buses. The material of the bushings is a perfect mix in which vibrations are reduced as much as possible while at the same time huge powers can be handled.
• All bolts and nuts required for proper installation. The included bolts are of the same quality as the rest of the parts, leaving nothing to chance.
