BOFI Racing 350HP Intercooler Kit for Mazda MX-5 NA NB

We believe this is THE intercooler solution for your boosted Mazda MX-5 NA & NB, designed to suit everything from an M45 supercharger to an EFR turbocharger, this system is plug and play and will handle up to a whopping 350hp.

We’ve looked at the modifications we’ve done ourselves over the years and have built a one-size-fits-all system that incorporates provisions for IDLE, BOV, IAT and a MAP line for the Turbo Wastegate, which we’ve tested to give a far more linear throttle and removes most of the rubber banding present in some turbo builds.

The intercooler mounts support a 230mm high intercooler, with excellent distance to the radiator as well as fitment against the factory air dam – it fully fills the mouth of the car, yet won’t ruin airflow to the radiator.

And finally, the entire pipe run is 2.5” internal diameter, with 6mm wall thickness silicone hose – we have run these at over 21psi of boost without issue. All the angles of the mould have been checked to ensure consistent diameter throughout the bends.

The kit includes

• Mounting Hardware (M6 nuts & Bolts)
• 4mm Stainless mounting brackets
• 10 x Stainless Clamps
• 5 Pieces of 6mm wall 2.5” ID boost piping
• 1 swaged aluminium up pipe with (25mm) takeoff for BOV, IAT (M12 x 1.5), IDLE (19mm) and Map provision and associated blanking caps.
• 2 swaged aluminium joiners (100mm)

Please note

• Product displayed for demonstration purposes, final product will be as per specification. Forge BOV sold separately, IAT sensor sold separately, Idle hose may be re-used from the factory.
• If a coolant re-route is installed, the throttle body elbow can be cut up to 35mm for clearance.
• Intercooler pictured is 180mm in height.
• Up pipe is not customisable, blanks are provided for sections not used – you may re-purpose as needed.
