Ducktail Spoiler from DCN Performance, also known as a Duckbill. This is the Aggressive version, which is higher and has a more aggressive angle.

Because of the MX-5’s aerodynamics, the only clean airflow usable for a ducktail is at the extreme left and right edges of the trunk.

This Ducktail Spoiler is shorter in the middle and higher at the edges, where it benefits from cleaner airflow. As a result, stability increases noticeably from speeds of 100-120 km/h (60-75 mph).

(Note: The numbers quoted refer to a standard car. The effects will be less noticeable the further your car deviates from the standard in terms of suspension and other aerodynamic features).

The mounting holes between the spoiler and supports are slotted, allowing for adjustable distance between the spoiler and the trunk. All necessary hardware is included (closed end rivets, stainless steel bolts and nuts). Optionally, the product can be mounted with Rivnuts or Jack nuts (not included).
