Mazda MX-5 Ducktail Spoiler – Aggressive - DCN Performance

Ducktail Spoiler by DCN Performance, also known as a Duckbill. This is the Aggressive version, which is taller and has a more aggressive angle of attack.

Due to the aerodynamics of the MX-5, the only clean airflow usable for a ducktail is at the far left and right edges of the trunk.

This Ducktail Spoiler is shorter in the middle and taller at the edges, where it benefits from the cleaner airflow. This noticeably increases stability from speeds of 100-120 km/h (60-75 mph).

(Note: the numbers mentioned refer to a standard car. The effects will be less noticeable the more your car deviates from standard in terms of suspension and other aerodynamic characteristics.)

The mounting holes between the spoiler and the supports are slotted, allowing for an adjustable distance between the spoiler and the trunk lid. All necessary hardware is included (closed-end rivets, stainless steel bolts and nuts). Optionally, the product can be mounted with Rivnuts or Jack nuts (not included).
