More about Exhaust Manifolds

An exhaust manifold channels exhaust gases from the cylinder head to the rest of the exhaust system. In naturally aspirated engines, the length and diameter can significantly impact torque and throttle response.

Pay attention to the flange, pipe diameter, connection to the catalytic converter or downpipe, and clearance around the block. A manifold must not only flow well but also fit properly and remain intact under heat.

New gaskets and secure fastening are not an unnecessary luxury during installation.
