An intake manifold distributes air to the cylinders. The shape, volume, and length of the runners affect torque, power, and throttle response.

When modifying or tuning an engine, it's important that the throttle body, injectors, vacuum connections, and available space in the engine bay are compatible. Not every manifold fits without additional parts.

An intake manifold works best when the rest of the intake system and ECU tuning are matched to it.
