Lowering springs lower the car without replacing the entire suspension system. They often provide a sportier stance and a slightly more direct steering feel.

Pay attention to the lowering amount, spring characteristics, shock absorber condition, and whether the car retains sufficient suspension travel. Driving too low on standard shock absorbers is not always better.

For daily use, good springs are often a good intermediate step before upgrading to a coilover kit.
