More about Turbos

A turbo largely determines how much power an engine can produce and how quickly that power is available. Bigger doesn't automatically mean better.

Pay attention to the flange, compressor and turbine side, A/R, wastegate setup, oil and water connections, and space in the engine bay. A well-chosen turbo matches the engine displacement, RPM range, and target power output.

Brands like Garrett and similar turbo brands are often chosen for serious turbo builds, but the combination around the turbo is just as important.
