A turbo manifold determines how exhaust gases are directed to the turbo. Length, collector, flange, and material influence spool, reliability, and engine bay space.

Pay attention to turbo location, wastegate connection, downpipe routing, and heat around brake lines, cables, and coolant hoses. For a custom turbo build, fitting and planning are at least as important as peak power.

Always use appropriate gaskets, fasteners, and, where necessary, heat protection.
