Injectors determine how much fuel each cylinder receives. The correct capacity is important when tuning, building a turbo, or switching to fuel with a different energy value.

Pay attention to flow rate, impedance, connector type, length, and spray pattern. Injectors that are too small quickly reach their limit, but injectors that are too large can be more difficult to tune at idle and low loads.
