The oil system lubricates and cools the engine. When driving sportily, with turbo-build up, or under prolonged load, oil pressure and oil temperature become much more important.

Consider oil pans, oil coolers, oil filter housings, adapters, lines, and breathers. Pay particular attention to oil pressure in turns, clearance around the block, and safe hose routing.

Proper oil system design prevents a powerful engine from failing due to something as simple as insufficient lubrication.
