Description

The Ecumaster Battery Isolator is a motorsport master relay device designed for FIA-compliant battery isolation and engine shutdown. Designed for tough motorsports environments, the device weighs only 83 grams. The fully solid-state design and absence of mechanical components ensure long life and high reliability.

The device has built-in alternator load protection without the addition of external components. With this, there is no risk of damage to expensive electronic equipment during an emergency stop. The isolator is controlled with two external switches and can be disabled with a CAN bus message. The message can be sent from an Ecumaster PMU16 unit in case of a collision or other event. The device can be configured via CANbus. It also transmits diagnostic information from other equipment and thus is valuable during setup and/or diagnosis. It is fully protected against overheating and overcurrent. The status of the device is indicated by a multi-colored LED light.
