Upgrade the old and often leaking coolant passage on the bulkhead for our one made entirely of stainless steel.

In many Volvo 240s, coolant hoses toward the interior begin to leak because of a faulty control valve or the grommet on the bulkhead that is rusted. Of course, this has everything to do with age and the materials used; after 25-40 years, certain items simply need to be replaced.

LucaCarMods took the original design and improved it a lot both visually and also in terms of longevity!

4mm 304 stainless steel
We have chosen to make the steel plate from 4mm thick 304 stainless steel which is many times thicker than the original steel. This prevents the plate from bending during de- and assembly of coolant hoses.

Other materials also made of 304 stainless steel
The tubes through which the coolant flows and the nuts to attach the whole thing to the Volvo 240 are also made of 304 stainless steel. In short, the entire Volvo 240 stainless steel upgrade coolant manifold grommet consists only of stainless steel which will greatly enhance its longevity.
