Description

Our shortened T6 > T5 crankcase is designed to make the Volvo T5 engine suitable for mounting in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) Volvo cars. This pan makes it easy to use a T5 engine, which is standard in front-wheel-drive (FWD) cars, in a RWD setup. After being shortened, the crankcase pans are accurately welded on both the inside and outside to ensure a proper fit to the lower block. Despite our careful practices, including straining and preheating the pan, the aluminum may warp slightly due to welding. Keep in mind that the sump pan may not be completely flat as a result. By tightening the bolts, you always pull the pan flat. Characteristics:
