Replacing the shift cuff on an MX-5 is a must, if no one has replaced them yet they are probably split and allow heat and noise into the interior. Replacing them significantly dampens road noise and prevents heat from the exhaust from entering the interior.

Jass has developed its own custom shift cuff that can withstand heat and vibration much longer.
