The MX5 NA EBC Turbo Grooved Brake Disc features drilled holes and slots. The holes ensure that during intensive braking the resulting gases can be discharged faster than with a conventional brake disc as it is standard on a Mazda MX-5. The slots in the EBC Turbo Grooved brake disc provide improved cooling for both the brake disc and pads.

If you suffer from vitrification/fading during hard braking or simply want better braking power, then the EBC Turbo Grooved brake disc will definitely do the trick. We recommend using this brake disc in combination with one of the EBC series brake pads. The Ultimax series is a replacement for standard brake pads; if you really want meet “bite” choose Yellowstuff or Redstuff brake pads.
