Complete set of welding reinforcements for the rear axle of a Volvo 200 series.

If you are going to drive more power in a Volvo 240, it is wise to reinforce the axle suspension points. You can mount this set on the shaft as shown in the pictures and then weld it completely off.

The rear axle must be thoroughly cleaned before welding. We also recommend bolting spacers or the original arms to the shaft before welding. This ensures proper bolt hole alignment and prevents warping.

The lower reinforcement plates have cutouts for hand brake wire.

Made of 5mm domex steel.

We also recommend replacing the lower bushings with nylon / plastic / poly to get an even more stable rear suspension.
