Lowering or raising a car with a rigid rear axle can cause vibrations in the driveline. This is because the driveshaft is at an angle instead of perpendicular to the rear axle.

With this adjustable panhard rod, this can be remedied very easily. In fact, the panhard rod can be adjusted while it is mounted. This is possible because of the adjustment bolt with left and right threads.
