The LCM Volvo 240 1UZ 4.0 V8 engine mounts make it possible to mount a Lexus 1UZ 4.0 V8 engine in a Volvo 240 Series.

The super strong Lexus (Toyota) 1UZ engine is a very well developed engine known for its reliability, low weight because it is an aluminum engine and of course the sound that this 4.0 V8 produces!

In our opinion, this is the perfect swap for a Volvo 240 that will be used daily. Lots of torque down low and power from 265 to as much as 300hp is possible with the UZ series.

• Suitable for a shortened Front Sump 1UZ with modified pickup tube (from a Lexus LS400, for example)

*A manual swap with a larger bellhousing than the automatic may require modifications to the tunnel.

• Volvo 240 LHD with unpowered steering rack (with power steering, the brackets need to be modified)

Note that in all cases the sump pan must be modified.
