Rear transmission mount Volvo 240 - GM 4L60 / T56

Tailor-made gearbox support for 240, fits many automatic and manual GM transmissions, e.g. 4L60, T56-T5 together with LS engine and our engine mounts (LINK TO:AS-001019-01).
The beam has multiple mounting holes to the body and can also be rotated 180 degrees, allowing for virtually infinite longitudinal mounting.
Strong and slim design with plenty of room for the exhaust system.
Depending on the gearbox you choose, you may need to tap and possibly make some cut-outs in the gearbox tunnel.
However, the beam does not fit the large 4L80 gearbox.
The mounting for that gearbox will be too far back and you will have to cut a lot out of the tunnel to mount it.
The beam is made to fit the standard gearbox mount/gearbox rubber shown as an example in the manual.
The dimensions of the gearbox rubber should be approximately 46mm high and the c-c threaded holes approximately 38mm.
Check the height of your gearbox between the center of the output shaft and the bottom of the rubber bush.
It should be approximately 116 mm for a good height with this beam.

They are made of 4 mm high-strength steel plate and are zinc-iron chromated and black passivated.
A kit consists of: bracket incl. all screws needed for mounting in beam and body.
