EBC Yellowstuff 1793 compound is a real winner all round, high friction when the brake pads are cold, it doesn't require a warm-up for street use, when they really get warm they simply brake better.
EBC yellow is ECE approved for brake safety, meaning they should work perfectly in the cold, at least as well or better than standard brake pads.
When Yellowstuff sees some heat (which isn't tested according to ECE R 90 brake safety regulations), they truly show their true potential. On Japanese cars built with lower-friction FF brake pads, they deliver a full ramp of higher braking power. On German cars built with GG, these are about the only aftermarket brake pads that will match or even beat the rather good German OE-spec pads, and that takes some doing.
