Rear Axle Reinforcements Volvo 240

Complete set of weld-on reinforcements for the rear axle of a Volvo 200 series.

If you're going to run more power in a Volvo 240, it's wise to reinforce the axle's mounting points. This set can be mounted on the axle as shown in the pictures and then fully welded.

The rear axle must be thoroughly cleaned before welding. We also recommend bolting spacers or the original arms to the axle before welding. This ensures proper alignment of the bolt holes and prevents warping.

The lower reinforcement plates have cut-outs for handbrake cables.

Made from 5 mm Domex steel.

We also recommend replacing the lower bushings with nylon / plastic / poly to get an even more stable rear suspension.
