CANChecked MFD32 GEN 2 Universal OLED Display

The latest CANChecked MFD32 GEN2 Multigauge Display offers an advanced way to monitor up to 128 ECU values in real-time. This display works with all ECUs that support CAN-bus or OBD2 and can also function standalone with additional sensors.

What is CANChecked?

CANChecked displays, gauges, software, and sensors make it possible to display essential engine data, such as:

• Oil temperature
• Boost pressure
• Exhaust gas temperature
• Fuel pressure

This data is retrieved via CAN-bus or OBD2, depending on the ECU, or via additional analog sensors.

Supported ECUs and data processing

The CANChecked display can read up to 128 sensors across 10 screen pages, provided the ECU can supply this data via CAN-bus or OBD2.

• OBD2 compatibility: Vehicles manufactured before 2008 often do not support data readout via OBD2. Please contact us for specific solutions.
• Available data: Not all vehicles can display all values; this depends on the ECU and available sensors.
• Supported ECUs: All ECUs with a documented CAN-bus or serial interface (an optional adapter is required for serial communication).
• Data customization: Manufacturers determine which values are transmitted via the interface. DBC files can be converted to the required .tri format with the DBC converter.

Especially for Volvo 240 owners

For Volvo 240 owners who want to integrate the CANChecked MFD32 display into the original dashboard, we offer a custom-made 3D-printed mounting bracket. This bracket ensures that the display fits perfectly into the instrument cluster of the first-generation Volvo 240.

Please note: To use the touchscreen, the plexiglass of the instrument cluster must be removed.

With this solution, you retain the classic look of your Volvo 240 while gaining access to modern engine data and functions.
