Mazda MX-5 NA/NB Roll Bar Double Hoop

This double-hoop roll bar gives your Mazda MX5 a much stiffer chassis and ensures a much safer situation in the event of an accident.

The Mazda MX-5 doesn't come standard with a roll cage or roll bar to protect you if it lands on its roof; the Mazda MX-5's roof is known for buckling very easily and offering no rigidity whatsoever.

This double-hoop MX5 roll bar gives your MX5 the safety and rigidity it needs. This version closely resembles the elegant chrome style bars often found on MX5s, but these are simply there for show. With this roll bar, you retain the classic look while adding the necessary safety. This roll bar has already proven itself on the track, ensuring that drivers have lived to tell the tale of the accident.

Specifications and colours

We usually have the black version of this Mazda MX5 NA NB roll bar in stock. If you'd prefer a different color, we can powder-coat the roll bar in almost any RAL color upon request. This is available in both matte and glossy finishes. If you'd like a different RAL color, please select "Matte/Glossy" and specify your desired color and finish in the comments section.

The roll bars and roll cages are manufactured from seamless E355 45x2.5 and 40x2mm tubing, laser-cut steel plates which are CNC bent and then welded by an experienced welder.

Assembly

All MX5 roll bars supplied by LucaCarMods come with the necessary mounting parts and can also be installed in our workshop if desired. If you prefer to install the roll bar yourself, please allow approximately one day for installation.

During installation, the soft top clips may need to be adjusted slightly at the sides. This is because these MX5 roll bars are wider than those of the competition; this again provides additional safety. The manufacturer's motto is: " We had to choose between the clip and your safety. The choice was simple – your life is way more important. " As you can see, everything about this roll bar has been designed with the safety of the Mazda MX5 driver and passenger in mind.
