Door bars for the Mazda MX5 NA/NB – without roll bar
Significantly improves chassis rigidity. At the same time, you're safer in a side impact. They stiffen your Mazda MX5 at its weakest point—where there's no roof to hold it together.
Made from FIA appendix J approved seamless 40×2 E355 tube.
Installation requires sheet metal welding for the doors. The rear mounting is bolted and includes door bars.
Door rods can be disassembled by unscrewing 4 screws for each rod.
Installation in North America with flat door trim requires no modifications. Modifications are mandatory in New Zealand and later NA models.
Kit includes door bars, front threaded sheet metal, and a set of nuts and bolts.
Comes standard in a black powder-coated finish. If ordered with a roll bar, this item can also be supplied in a different (RAL) color of your choice.
