Designed to give you complete sequential control over your 4-cylinder engine in a compact, reliable, and affordable design.
With support for a wide range of OEM sensors and triggers, the ME221 Wire-In also offers a great deal of flexibility where needed, including features such as fully sequential fuel control, Flex-Fuel, Closed Loop Boost & VVT, and DSP Knock/Detonation Prevention. And, of course, basic functionality such as programmable inputs, sensor fine-tuning via tables, and full 3D mapping. In that respect, the ME221 is a very comprehensive engine management system at a reasonable price.
In principle, any 4-cylinder injection engine, both turbo and naturally aspirated, can be equipped with an ME221 ECU.

As with all aftermarket ECUs, the base maps are supplied solely for starting the car. We recommend having the car tuned immediately by a reputable workshop to prevent engine damage.
Connectivity Specification:
- 2x IGBT Coil Drivers for Direct Coil Drive
- 4x High Impedance Injector Drivers (Can be used to drive two injectors each, or as spare Low Side Drivers)
- 3x Spare 10A Low Side Drivers (User Assignable features, ie Fuel Pump, VVT, Boost Solenoid etc)
- 1x 12V Tachometer Output
- 2x VR/OPTO/HALL Crank and Cam Signal Inputs
- 1x Knock Sensor Input
- 7x Analogue Sensor Inputs (Can be used as digital inputs)
