Turbo pressure regulator / Boost Controller - Volvo B230FK/FT

The difference between the B230FK and the B230FT lies in the wastegate actuator, also known as the pressure chamber. This ensures that the B230FK turbo delivers a maximum boost pressure of approximately 0.35 bar, while the B230FT delivers 0.6 bar. The engines are otherwise identical and can handle up to 0.7 bar as standard. This equates to approximately 170 hp!

With a turbo pressure regulator, also called a manual boost controller, you can easily increase turbo pressure and therefore power. With a B230FK (LPT) low-pressure engine, you can go from approximately 135 hp to 170 hp+!
