Volvo 240 Stainless Steel Upgrade Coolant Firewall Pass-Through

Upgrade the old and often leaking coolant bulkhead fitting for our full stainless steel version.

In many Volvo 240s, coolant hoses leading to the interior start to leak due to a faulty control valve or a corroded bulkhead fitting. This is, of course, due to the age and materials used; after 25-40 years, certain items simply need replacement.

LucaCarMods has taken the original design and significantly improved it, both visually and in terms of lifespan!

4mm 304 Stainless Steel
We have chosen to make the steel plate from 4mm thick 304 stainless steel, which is many times thicker than the original steel. This prevents the plate from bending during the removal and installation of coolant hoses.

Other materials also made from 304 Stainless Steel
The tubes through which the coolant flows and the nuts to attach the entire assembly to the Volvo 240 are also made from 304 stainless steel. In short, the complete Volvo 240 stainless steel upgrade coolant bulkhead fitting consists only of stainless steel, which will greatly benefit its lifespan.
