If you switch to modern ignition, the camshaft opening at the rear of the block can be blanked off. And in Volvo 240s, they are blanked off as standard.

Due to age or high crankcase pressure, this blanking plug can be forced out or simply fall out. This results in a serious oil leak at the rear of the B230 engine!

With this cover plate, you can easily ensure that the camshaft blanking plug remains firmly in place.

The cover plate is made of laser-cut Stainless Steel (SS) to prevent corrosion. Supplied including mounting hardware.
