Our shortened T6 > T5 oil pan is designed to make the Volvo T5 engine suitable for installation in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) Volvos. This pan makes it easy to use a T5 engine, which is standard in front-wheel-drive (FWD) cars, in an RWD setup.

After shortening, the oil pans are precisely welded on both the inside and outside to ensure a good fit on the engine block. Despite our careful working method, including clamping and preheating the pan, the aluminum may deform slightly due to welding. Please note that the oil pan may therefore not be completely flat. You can always flatten the pan by tightening the bolts.
