Nissan S13 RB25 custom downpipe and exhaust

A friend sent me a video of his low-hanging and leaking downpipe and asked if I could repair it and while we cut off all exhaust flanges and welded V-bands for easy installation. We discussed his wishes, the price and set a date.

2 weeks later he arrived at my workshop with his S13 on a trailer with what appeared to be a drift rocket. Under the hood you could see the attention to detail! A fully built RB25 engine with a Borg Warner Precision 6262 strapped on. What a beast.

As soon as the S13 was on the lift you could see what a hack job the downpipe was. It was MIG welded and looked like it was made from scrap metal the previous Dutch tuning shop had lying around. Time for a good looking 3 “stainless steel and TIG welding to make a downpipe that matches the rest of the car.

The owner wanted V-band flanges and a very tight fit under the car. (the old downpipe was 10cm below the chassis rails)
