Volvo 740/940 Drift Bumper with Jacking Point

Prevent damage while drifting and easily change your tires when they're worn out from drifting?

These are two common issues when drifting. To prevent your rear bumper or other parts from being damaged by an innocent bump from another driver while drifting, LucaCarMods designed the drift bumper (also known as a bash bar). If someone bumps into you, you'll have a sturdy 45mm thick steel bumper that absorbs the impact. If the impact is quite hard, the bumper will flex to absorb as much of the impact as possible.

The bumper section is attached to the car with 8 bolts, so it can be easily removed in case of damage.

A safe jacking point

Both wheels can be easily and quickly changed using the central jacking point, which lifts the entire rear of the Volvo 740/940 off the ground at once. A major additional advantage is that jack stands can then be placed under the original jacking points, allowing for safe work under the car if needed. Normally, this is not possible because the only jacking point is simply occupied by the jack.

Mounting on the original Volvo tow bar and bumper mounting points

The bumper is designed to be easily mounted using the existing mounting points for the rear bumper and tow bar.
